International Women’s Day (100th Anniversary): 5 Funny Comediennes

Since it’s the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, I thought I’d put up videos of five of the funniest female physical comedians/clowns from television.

The five I’ve chosen are Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Gilda Radner, Tina Fey, and Mary Tyler Moore.  It’s a little bit of a stretch to fit MTM into the clown role (she’s such a straight man) but I think I can justify it– she’s the linchpin around which everything else happens.  (Ted Baxter, or Georgette on the other hand, it would be easy to fit into the category.)
